Default The future of Armour

So everybodies excited about Factions and rightly so, but there as been little discusion about what may lie beyond Chapter 2, chapter 3 perhaps? Maybe even 4?
Surely it is our right if not our duty to layer these upcoming treats with speculation and hype, so join me by posting any ideas for long term Guild Wars additions here.
i've started the ball rolling with my very amateurish yet endearing, Warrior Armour idea: Ulfsark Armour, based on Nordic bearskin and tattoo type battledress.
I figured this might be good if the next continent was to the north, deep in charr territory, or some such rambling hyperbole.
Not sure if this should be here or in suggestions forum but we'll leave that to the mods, common bring on the crap!

i like that idea, i¨m from norway and it would be really cool if they made a chapter with viking/barbarian theme, like chaptar 2 is Asian.

It looks like something out of "Runescape" to me. I wouldn't really go for it.

Why not Slavic, Roman or middle medieval style then, hm? Maybe Byzantine? Arabic? There's a plenty of possibilities, we have to wait to see them.

Yes the themes are limitless, so Anet better not be considering a "creative block" any time soon.
out of those the ones i'd like to see most would be Arabic or Roman, especially since Prophecies was really already quite medieval based and i dont know wot Slavick stuff actuallt looks like.
Dont forget to post your own pictures of things you'd like to see in the future of Guild Wars

hehe looks liek a combo of glads armor and tats. Warrior tats would be nice; something like Newzealend tatoos that could give 1 strike of permanent energy per peice or something lol

I love Newzealend tats, wanted to get a henna one on my shoulder once...

Personally, I'd like to see something more along the lines of Saladin/Arabian Nights theme, with the turbans, flowing robes, curved blades...

The Grey skin is actually just to make him seem more primal and dark but it could also be war-paint if u want a practical explanation.
I also think an Egyptian style might be good but i often think that the eccentriccity of egyptian clothing, with the golds, reds and blues, might just be a bit silly. Still, prve me wrong by posting a pic. Please sombody post a picture, or else i'll just start to look silly :P

Ranger Python Armor!

Didn't put too much time into it, only made a quick sketch using the picture of ranger as model. Maybe will try to add more detail to it later.

Still trying to color in my Vampire Armor...
(I just like to do concept armor for than just copy the exisiting armor... and there is a few more old one that I have in another thread.. but will save that for later...)

Here is one I like... Warrior's Chimaera Armor. Its a sketch (too lazy to draw/shade the other side, but you should get the point) The helm take the shape of a goat head, the body a lion's head, and a snake at the belt (also goes behind at the spine too). The waist is cover with cloth, and furs around the neck, shoulder plate, and elbe/knee. The armor part will be of metalic (bronze or dark black steel). I am still unsure what to do for the arm and the leg...but its suppose to look like a lion's arm/leg/claw.

I will try to put in more time on this one if have time....

Actualy warpaint as some sort of high nrg/extra addr charge, low armour kind of thing sounds nice if we ever get some sort of "savage" chapter.
